CHP After-school Cooking Program for Kids
WHO: Children 5-12 years old
WHEN: Mondays 3:15 – 5:30 pm for ages 5-8. Wednesdays 3:15 – 5:30 pm for ages 9-12.
WHAT: Kids will learn about food in a healthy, fun way as they participate in food preparation and learn about making healthy food choices. Led by an experienced teacher and CHP nutritionists, children will have the opportunity to talk with local farmers about their fresh, organic produce and healthy eating, and meet local chefs.
COST: $15/class, additional siblings $7/class. $25 family rate. Sliding scale available.
