About CHP

CHP Plans Ahead

Community Health Programs looks forward to continuing our legacy of reaching those people who need us most and providing them with the highest quality care through services that are based on the most current best-practices research. While we dedicate ourselves to being the safety net for the most vulnerable members of our community, CHP programs provide state-of-the-art care for people who are fully insured and who come from all socioeconomic brackets.

CHP dedicates tremendous resources to pursuing new sources of funding and to developing local and regional collaborations that allow us to offer the highest quality of care to all clients. Most recently, CHP became a partner with the Massachusetts Diabetes Collaborative to provide the best care possible for people afflicted with diabetes. We have instituted a new Nutrition Department which is taking South County by storm in bringing nutrition and wellness information to the residents.

As CHP looks ahead, we see on the immediate horizon a new Dental Center, to open this Spring (2007). Our Healthy Communities Access Program is now in its second year and continues to reach out and help individuals get the medical resources they need. The Health Caravan is also once again on the crusade to bring health and wellness to South County. We are also happy to report that our A-Z program will begin its second season shortly. The First Steps program has begun a wonderful new way to connect with your infant through Infant Massage classes. CHP Family Network programs continue to evolve in response to the changing needs and interests of the community.

On the more distant horizon, CHP’s Board of Directors is envisioning a major Capital Campaign to raise funds for a state-of-the-art building that may allow all CHP programs to be housed under one roof.

CHP does not have a crystal ball to predict the future, but you can be sure that we will continue to expand our services to go on bringing South County residents the resources and services they need and deserve.
